The mucin is extracted from the snail following a non-stressful treatment which involves the spraying of a solution composed of natural substances which guarantees non-invasive stress and does not affect the health of the animal in the production cycle. a very high quality mucin is obtained. The snails can be released ALIVE back into the garden after this extraction process. They are only killed for culinary preparations.
