Lumadea is brand of cosmetic products that is ideal for the face and body. Our cosmetic lines are based on snail mucin sourced from our own family of sustainable organic farms in Italy. Thanks to the exceptional properties of our pure snail mucin, the Lumadea lines, with its soothing, restructuring and healing qualities, represents the ideal solution against tissue relaxation and skin aging.
THE DISCOVERY OF SNAIL MUCIN
The slime is obtained exclusively from Helix Aspersia Muller snails. They are raised in a natural cycle which represents a very
important role within each Lumadea product. Its properties were discovered by pure chance, observing the hands of snail farmers destined for the French gastronomic market. Their hands were always hydrated and free from signs of aging, and the wounds healed in a few days without ever showing signs of infection. Snail slime is 100% natural and contains only active ingredients.
CLEAN PROCESS
Lumadea products are completely cruelty-free. The slime is extracted from the snail following a non-stressful treatment. This involves the spraying of a solution composed of natural substances which guarantees non-invasive stress and does not affect the health of the animal in the production cycle. We have created the methods for a very pure micro-filtered snail mucin.
THE HARMONY OF THE SNAIL
The concentric development of the spiral of the snail's shell has a pattern that can be traced back to Fibonacci numbers, a mathematical relationship that connects the snails, the shape of the galaxies and the arrangement of the leaves on the branches.
